Abstract
Drucker defi nes innovation as ‘the act that endows resources with a new capacity to create wealth’ (p. 36). The work of the entrepreneur is to innovate and to successfully manage innovation. This book is therefore dedicated to providing a systematic method for institutionalizing the management of change in organizations for their good and for the good of society. Drucker provides a system for doing this but it is a complex system, with many intricacies that intellectual giants including Kenneth G. Wilson, Nobel Laureate (Physics, 1982), have pondered in their application of Drucker’s work to innovation in organizations.
